Requirements:

• We ask that testers are regular pc users (average use of 2 hours a day) and aged 18+.
• As the software has specific messages aimed at increasing confidence and reducing stammering, ideal candidates would range from mild to quite severe stammers, to give a true indication of the softwares value.
• A personal progress report would be required if possible on a monthly basis to assess the success of the subliminal messages and to gauge the feelings of the testers.
• Product feedback would also be required for any problems users encounter during installation or executions of the self-help product.
• Suggestions on the layout, ease of use and possible enhancements users would like to be included would also be helpful.
• The testing period will initially be around 4 months but may be extended dependant on the user feedback and progress. Testing will start around the end of march 2003.
• All Testers will get access to a password protected Forum to air views, suggestions and problems they may wish to share with ourselves and other testers. Usernames and password will be emailed on successfull acceptance as a beta tester.
• Any persons wishing to take part in the testing phase please fill out the beta signup form HERE or alternately contact selfhelp@xpert-tech.co.uk with your Name, age, telephone number (optional), brief description of the nature of your stammer and a permanent email address and we will try and contact you within 48 hours.
• At the end of the testing phase, all testers will get an option to purchase the full product (if the testing phase is successfull ) at a discounted price, with a proportion of the fee going to the BSA charity.
